NEWS – Besides my iPhone and my MacBook, my most-used Apple accessory is my AirPods Pro earbuds. In addition to how they sound (natch), I also love how they automatically switch between my iPhone, MacBook, and iPad Pro. I never thought about getting a 3rd party case for them until I saw the SwitchEasy Defender+ case, which adds a bit more protection, but also something even more interesting – a phone stand.

NEWS – Olight has just kicked off its 18th anniversary sale with up to 40% off various flashlights and other EDC gear. In addition to these big discounts, they are also giving away an i3E EOS flashlight. This flashlight is worth $12.99 and will be available while supplies last for new and existing customers who have created an account and login to their website. I’m a big fan of Olight flashlights and have several stowed in convenient locations around my home.

NEWS – Ok, guitars don’t have teeth or cavities, but their strings and fretboards can get pretty dirty after daily use. Greasy and skin from your fingers (eeeeew) can build up on the strings and frets, causing a loss of tone. FretFloss is a handy gadget that will help you clean things up quickly. It features a two-sided microfiber cloth that cleans the fretboard with one side and sandwiches the strings to clean them too.

NEWS – Back in ’97 when I started writing about gadgets, the idea of a smart lock seemed like something out of a sci-fi movie. Fast forward to today, and here we are, looking at the Lockin Veno Pro. This isn’t just your run-of-the-mill front door lock; it’s like giving your front door a brain and X-ray vision superpowers.
