DUBAI: In the heart of Dubai is a structure that might strike some as remarkable in a region known for its water scarcity. Deep Dive Dubai is the deepest swimming pool in the world, with a capacity equivalent to six Olympic-size pools. At 60m, its depth is the height of a 20-storey building or a Boeing 777 standing on its nose. Filled with 14 million litres of fresh water, it allows visitors to take part in a range of diving activities.
