Laughs, shouts and laser cannon sound effects filled UCF MainStage in Theatre UCF Wednesday and Thursday as the cast of “Race to Infinity” prepared for their upcoming performances. According to the Arts at UCF website, “Race to Infinity” is a two-act play written by senior theatre studies major Gian Arellano. The play focuses on a video game-loving girl named Sara and her struggle to find her self-worth amid her difficult family situation.

Finishing off games has been a common theme in SEC play for the Alabama baseball team this season, and Saturday night's game against Mississippi State was no different. The Tide dropped the series 2-1 after an 8-4 loss. Grayson Hitt started the game off on the mound, and was shaky at times through the first few innings.
