DiscussionTo our knowledge, this is the first study to show quantitative data on NMC velocity (mm·min−1) by use of a 99mTc-albumin colloid tracer as an in vivo nasal test of a radiolabelled tracer travelling from a fixed point in the nose towards a reference source. Up to now, studies on NMC have been sparsely reported and with different outcome measures.
