IntroductionClick to copy section linkSection link copied!MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of endogenous, nonprotein coding small RNAs (19–25 nt) that induce post-transcriptional gene silencing by pairing to their complementary mRNA targets, resulting in translation repression and/or mRNA degradation. (1) Due to their crucial role in gene expression, the aberrant expression of miRNA is closely related to the occurrence of various diseases.
