"The goal and the objective are always to position yourself and your team so that when you get to the draft, you can unlock the full potential of your board and not have to be stressed out and take the best player available," Veach said on a Zoom call on Thursday. "I think, though, over the years, one thing that we’ve shown is that we’re going to put a high priority on offensive line and defensive line, and you start off with Jaylon Moore.

This opens up the possibility of the Raiders drafting a guy like Ohio State QB Will Howard or Syracuse QB Kyle McCord, two late round guys that are young but have a ton of arm talent. And for Howard, he just played for Chip Kelly, so he knows the system already. Or, they could package their new pick that they get, if they get one, with some of their other picks, and move up in the draft and take a guy like Jalen Milroe.

The Las Vegas Raiders have a long list of needs as the 2025 NFL Draft is just weeks away. They will try to address as many of them as possible; however, with all of the unknowns surrounding the draft, it's hard to predict what will happen. One thing we do know is that the Raiders will be drafting a running back, they will be drafting a cornerback, they will be drafting a wide receiver, and they could be drafting a defensive tackle.

Kevin Wilson is an offensive analyst for the Sooners heading into the 2025 season. He previously served as OU’s co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach from 2002 to 2005, where he helped develop some of the best offenses and offensive lines we have seen. He was then the offensive coordinator from 2006 to 2010. He was head coach at Indiana from 2011 to 2016, going 26-47 with two bowl appearances. From 2017 to 2022, he was Ohio State’s co-offensive coordinator.

Yes, the Oklahoma Sooners head coach, Brent Venables, is on the hot seat, and, let's be real, it is a bit deserved. Prior to Venables, the last losing season was 1998. Now, they have had two in three years under Venables, and at Oklahoma, that can't happen. And, I'm sure Venables would agree with that statement. But let's be honest once again, if there is anyone who is going to make sure this team works to turn things around, it's Venables.
