AbstractObservational studies in Parkinson’s disease (PD) deeply characterize relatively small numbers of participants. The Molecular Integration in Neurological Diagnosis Initiative seeks to characterize molecular and clinical features of every PD patient at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). The objectives of this study are to determine the feasibility of genetic characterization in PD and assess clinical features by sex and GBA1/LRRK2 status on a clinic-wide scale.

A couple of thoughts…. The plastic is expensive and the labour and equipment used to dispense it are too. Basically if the supplier didn’t have to use it they wouldn’t. So is it a health code? Somehow ease transportation/ logistics? Why exactly are they doing this? The supplier won’t change for one customer. O.k., maybe if you were a chain with 120 franchises in the immediate area they would, but for one customer, no they won’t change.

They were also almost twice as likely to get nowhere near enough sleep than others (31 per cent to 17 per cent) and sleep quality was more often poor or terrible (58 per cent to 42 per cent).
