HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth football team opened spring practice this week, looking to keep the momentum going from its four Ivy League Championships in the last five seasons. Week one featured three practices, including some time indoors in the state-of-the-art Graham Indoor Practice Facility, along with an outdoor practice on Thursday. Sammy McCorkle, the Robert L. Blackman Head Football Coach, was happy after day one.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Dartmouth women's rowing team, ranked 21st in the latest Pocock CRCA Poll, hung tough against No. 6 Yale on Saturday, but fell short against the Bulldogs for the Class of 1985 Cup. "It was a really great experience for the team to go down there and race against one of the top teams," said head coach John Graves. "Overall, this was a valuable experience for our team to see what a top 10 team in the country looks like.

BOSTON — The Dartmouth men's heavyweight rowing team put forth another strong effort on Saturday in sweeping racing against Boston University. The Big Green were victorious in all three races of the morning, capturing the Bill Cup with their varsity eight victory. "I thought it was a good team performance," said Wyatt Allen, Betsy and Mark Gates 1959 Head Coach of Men's Heavyweight Rowing. "I was glad to see our lower boats take a step forward. That was a big positive in challenging conditions.
