BOSTON -- The Boston Celtics will look to pick up where they left off with another convincing win over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday at TD Garden. They may have to play Game 2 of the first-round series without their superstar. Jayson Tatum is officially listed as doubtful to play due to the wrist injury he suffered in the fourth quarter of Game 1. That means Boston will again have to lean on its supporting cast in Wednesday's matchup.

BOSTON -- The Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic are set to begin their first-round playoff series Easter Sunday at TD Garden. Boston, the reigning NBA champion, enters Game 1 as the overwhelming favorite against an Orlando team that hasn't advanced past the first round since 2010. That was the last time these two franchises met in the postseason, with the C's winning in six games before falling to the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals.

If Abdul Carter falls to the New England Patriots at No. 4 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, it will be difficult for Mike Vrabel and Co. to pass on the opportunity to add a premier talent to their defense. Recent drafts have been rough for the Patriots, but they seem to have hit on their first-round picks over the last two years with quarterback Drake Maye and cornerback Christian Gonzalez blossoming into franchise cornerstones.

In 1997, the Rick Pitino-led Boston Celtics nearly made a franchise-altering deal with the dynastic Chicago Bulls. Boston finished the 1996-97 season with only 15 wins, the fewest in team history. On the bright side, the Celtics' terrible record gave them great odds of securing the No. 1 pick in the 1997 NBA Draft and selecting Wake Forest star Tim Duncan.
