When I was living in California around the turn of the century, my wife and I happened upon a grocery store that was sampling various cheeses. We noticed some Kaukauna cheese and said we wanted to try that one because it was real Wisconsin cheese. The nice lady who was handing out the samples said, "You should eat the California cheese because happy cows come from California". Why did she say such a thing?

The weather still looks mainly dry over the next few days. Temperatures will be mostly above normal as well, with only a couple of seasonal days. Wednesday: Partly cloudy through midday with a slight chance of a brief shower or sprinkle, then turning sunny during the afternoon. Get ready for the warmest day of the year so far across Northcentral Wisconsin. We will experience mostly sunny skies and high temps in the upper 70s to around 80. You can put on the shorts and t-shirts this afternoon.

A dry weather pattern has developed. The conditions will be quite nice for the next week or so and the chances of rain will remain slim. An Omega Block jet stream pattern has formed across the US and it will “block” any significant storm system from moving through the Upper Midwest. The blocking pattern might last for more than a week. This means mainly dry weather, a lot of sunny skies, and comfortable temps. There are only two chances of precipitation this week.
