In this statement, AD Don Coryell acknowledges the interest by another conference, but states they have “decided not to make a change at this time.”Fans were quick to point out the “at this time” portion of the statement as a possible indication that if another conference other than the MWC extended an invite, that could change.

Camanche Community School District is proud of the $12.5 million safety/security and renovation project completed in November 2023. The project was completed with overwhelming support from our community during the recent bond referendum. This project now ensures that each of the three buildings has safe and secure entrances. In addition to that work, we doubled the size of our theater to nearly 575 total capacity.

Maroon & Golden was established before NIL was in existence by Justin Shaffer, co-founder and board member, as an online forum for Texas State athletics in December 2018.
