    Alabama football reportedly showed interest in former Georgia now Miami quarterback, Carson Beck, when he was considering his future, per USA Today’s Matt Hayes. Beck declared for the NFL Draft at the conclusion of the Bulldogs’ season. He backed off those plans and decided to enter the transfer portal. This comes as no surprise as the current landscape of college football makes every program vulnerable to losing players to the portal. The Crimson Tide lost a total of 21 players to the transfer portal at the end of the regular season and after the ReliaQuest Bowl. 23 players have now departed from the program since the start of the 2024 season when you include Naquil Betrand and Jaheim Oatis.
