MSU’s first scholarship portal loss of the spring window…The NCAA transfer portal opened up for the spring window today, and the Spartans have lost their first scholarship player of the cycle. Sources tell Spartan Tailgate that Michigan State EDGE Anthony Jones will be transferring. Update: His name is now in the transfer portal. The move is official. The Nevada native has 2 sacks & 5 tackles for loss in 26 career games at Oregon, Indiana and MSU.

MSU making progress on second addition of the portal cycle... Michigan State is continuing to progress through its transfer portal process, as the college basketball offseason is now in full swing. MSU has been actively looking to replace the production from NBA Draft entrant Jase Richardson, transfer departure Tre Holloman, and graduating seniors Jaden Akins, Frankie Fidler and Szymon Zapala. They got off to a great start with that mission when they landed FAU forward Kaleb Glenn.

To that point, the Spartans have landed their first transfer portal commitment of the offseason, as Florida Atlantic transfer Kaleb Glenn has committed to MSU.
