With three players scoring under par in the final round, the OSU men’s golf team ran away with the Big 12 Championship at Southern Hills Country Club. The Cowboys, who finished at 2-under, claimed their 12th Big 12 title in program history and first since 2021. OSU was the only team to finish under par and won by 11 strokes. Before Oklahoma State hit the field for its first spring practice, head coach Mike Gundy was asked at what point during last year’s 3 and 9 campaign did he know changes to the coaching staff were needed. In short, Gundy replied with, “It is something you evaluate all the way through. My job is to determine how good we are. Where we are at talent-wise. Where we are getting good play, or where we are getting poor play, and why that is happening.”Gundy added he’s not a big fan of coaching changes.

With spring practice here, it is time to officially turn the page from the worst season of the Mike Gundy era. The three wins by the Cowboys last year almost amounts to how many familiar faces are back for Oklahoma State. Between roster turnover and different coordinators, 2025 offers a lot of new for OSU. Head coach Mike Gundy said, “I don’t have any doubts or concerns about what we can do.” Gundy added, “It is different though because you don’t build and develop players anymore.

In its final home game of the season, the Tulsa women’s basketball team ended play in style inside the Reynolds Center by taking down South Florida 66 to 58. 9: The Golden Hurricanes snapped the Bulls' nine-game winning streak. TU has now won back-to-back home games over USF. They won 72-65 a year ago. 18: On senior night, it was sophomore Maddy Cartwright who stole the show. Cartwright put up 10 first-quarter points and finished with a game-high 18 points.

In a highly anticipated matchup, the Catoosa Indians defeated the Inola Longhorns 10-7 in a hard-fought game on Friday night. This was the first meeting between the two teams in 31 years, making it a true "Battle of the Ports" as the schools are located in neighboring towns. The game started off slowly, with neither team able to find the end zone in the first quarter. However, Inola struck first when Jenner Estes faked out the defense and the News On 6 camera with a read option.
