LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The man who was caught on camera attacking a woman during a road rage incident has pleaded guilty. FOX5 confirmed Jose Antonio Soriano pleaded guilty with district court. His sentencing is scheduled for May 14. He previously faced a total of three charges including robbery, malicious destruction of property and attempted battery with substantial bodily harm. His robbery and destruction charges were dropped Monday. He only pleaded guilty to attempted battery.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A parent is no longer allowed on site of a Las Vegas middle school after threats toward a teacher and student. The incident at Dr. William H. Bailey Middle School was discussed at a CCSD Bond Oversight Committee meeting. Member Abraham Camejo read an email sent to him about the incident. “On March 28, a parent entered [Bailey Middle School] during instructional time and threatened to shoot and kill the teacher that allegedly called her daughter ‘slow,’” he said.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Nevada State Police said a semi-tractor trailer and a minivan caught fire after a wrong-way crash north of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Police said the crash happened Monday, April 14 at 1:51 a.m. on southbound I-15 and mile marker 79. this is about 25 miles north of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Police said the driver of a 2004 Ford Expedition traveled the wrong way northbound in the southbound lanes of I-15.

HENDERSON, Nev. (FOX5) - A motorcyclist died after a driver ran a red light at a Las Vegas Valley intersection. The crash happened at Sunset Road and Marks Street at 10:33 a.m. Thursday. The Clark County coroner identified the motorcyclist as Brian Frazier, a 46-year-old man. The Henderson Police Department said the driver of a Nissan Rogue stopped at a red light at the intersection. At the same moment, Frazier traveled westbound on Sunset approaching Marks.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The City of Henderson along with community partners are giving away 100 trees to residents in the Pittman neighborhood. It’s for a special Arbor Day event, according to a media release from the city. Trees and planting soil will be given to the first 100 Pittman residents to attend the education session.
