IntroductionStroke is a common global public health problem, especially in low- and middle-income countries. It is the second leading cause of death and a major cause of disability worldwide. In 2019, 12.2 million new stroke incidents were reported (1). About 70–80% of the patients have upper limb dysfunction after stroke, and 30–50% of the affected arm is still severely impaired at 6 months after a stroke.
