Dante Zamudio ended his Cape Catfish career in style. The right-hander struck out six in six strong innings, but it was not enough as the Catfish lost to the O’Fallon Hoots 8-6 on Tuesday, June 17, at Capaha Field. It was the final game for Zamudio and fellow pitcher Jorge Romero, as the two hurlers are heading out west after signing to play for the Idaho Falls Chukars in the Pioneer Baseball League. “It's bittersweet,” Zamudio said.
