When Patsy and Danny Roberts pulled up to a Kansas gas station, they had no intentions of going inside the convenience store. But then the couple from Lyndon discovered the card reader at the pump was broken, according to a Nov. 15 news release from the Kansas Lottery. Danny Roberts went inside to pay for gas, and he spotted the $10 Kansas City Chiefs World Champions instant tickets, officials said. "And he just couldn't resist those Chiefs tickets!" his wife, Patsy, told lottery officials.

Kristi Sadler bought a winning lottery ticket from her bar, Kristi's Pour House, according to Michigan Lottery officials. The two-person club decided on a "special code word" they'd use if they ever won a prize, according to a Nov. 16 news release. In September, those two members got to use their code word for the first time.

An area business manager for a Missouri crop science company used his work credit card for more than $100,000 in personal purchases, according to federal authorities. From about May 2014 to March 2022, authorities said Matthew Olinger used the company credit card for family meals, vacations, clothes, boating and other entertainment.

Randy Johnson, a large carnivore specialist with the department, told Wisconsin Public Radio the hunter was in a tree stand with his bow on Saturday, Nov. 11, when he spotted movement.
