I visited the Toronto Women’s Bookstore just about every week in my early 20s. I was drawn to its book displays and array of zines, pop art, greeting cards, buttons, T-shirts, and magnets you couldn’t find anywhere else in the city. I attended after-hours readings and shows at the store, too, a duplex on Harbord Street that often doubled as event space. One weekend, my sister attended a skill-building workshop for aspiring racialized feminist writers there.

The Burwell FFA chapter held its Annual Banquet the evening of Monday, April 15 in the Burwell Public Schools Commons Room with over 125 members, parents and guests in attendance. Throughout the night, several members and friends of the FFA were recognized for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
