Female BALB/c mice (aged 6–7 weeks, 18–20 g) were purchased from the SPF Biotechnology Co. (Beijing, China) and kept in specific pathogen-free and controlled temperature (24 ± 1 °C) conditions. The mice were maintained under a 12-h light/dark cycle and supplied with a normal diet and drinking water.
