The demand for lithium (Li) has surged with the rapid expansion of the Li-ion battery (LIB) market, driven by electric vehicles (EVs) and grid energy storage devices [1], [2]. Globally-distributed low-grade Li brines have been recognized as one of the most suitable Li sources to meet this demand [3]. However, current Li extraction technologies from these brines face challenges due to low Li concentrations, high Mg contents, and unsuitable climatic conditions [4].
