Airtel added 76,000 customers to its Digital TV customer base, largely as a result of its recently launched Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) service, the company’s managing director, Gopal Vittal, mentioned during the earnings call for the quarter ending on March 31, 2025 (Q4FY25). IPTV is a method of delivering and viewing television content using an internet protocol network and high-speed broadband connectivity as opposed to broadcast TV, cable TV or satellite signals.
