Hotel review: Radisson Blu Euston Square, LondonBy KANIKA BANWAIT FOR YOU MAGAZINE Published: 08:06 EDT, 22 April 2025 | Updated: 08:06 EDT, 22 April 2025 When visiting a city like London, I don't blame you if you would rather spend less money on accommodation so you can spend more while exploring the capital. If you're doing it right, you'll barely be in the hotel or apartment anyway. That doesn't mean, however, you have to stay somewhere grotty.

When you live in a city, sometimes all you need is a quick escape to the countryside to ground yourself and de-stress – to be at one with nature, away from the pollution and overpriced wellness. Tewinbury Farm is perfect for such a country escape. Just a 30 minute train ride away from King's Cross, it offers everything you could need to forget about work, chores and life admin over the weekend.

One of my new year's resolutions for 2025 was to try reformer pilates. I wanted to be one of those reformer girlies with the coordinating athleisure outfit and toned abs, sliding around on a dubious-looking machine, sweating but in that minimalist and sexy way. I had only ever tried reformer pilates once before, in a beginner's class, where it was more about learning the positions and how not to be scared of falling off the machine than it was about getting the most out of your workout.

How are your new year's resolutions going? We're three months into 2025 but we feel like the year is only just getting started properly, now that the sun is shining for longer and we don't freeze over every time we step outside. But it's not just the sight of daffodils and blue skies that's making us feel fresh – there's good reason for it. Today, 20th March 2025, marks the spring equinox, which is the start of the astrological new year.

When visiting a big city, you're probably going to spend most of your time out of the hotel room, exploring, eating and travelling to all of the key sites. But that's not to say a smaller, more unique hotel isn't worth staying in, especially when it's in a solid location. Let me introduce you to Batty Langley's, just a short walk away from Shoreditch High Street and Liverpool Street stations.
