DISNEY has revealed plans to open a brand new theme park - in Abu Dhabi. The huge new park will be in Yas Island, and will be the seventh for Disney. Calling it a "groundbreaking resort destination" it will be on the huge waterfront. Little-else is known about the theme park including how many lands and what rides it will include. However, it will have themed accommodation as well as dining and retail experiences, it has been confirmed.

FARO in Portugal is our latest destination for our weekly Spotlight On series. The Sun's Deputy Travel Editor Kara Godfrey recently visited. She said: "Most people skip Faro to head straight down to the Algarve. "But there are some fantastic islands just off the coast where you will see barely any tourists. "Ilha Deserta, also known as Barreta, takes just 20 minutes by boat, with tickets a few euros. "Some call it the Caribbean of Portugal - something I agree with thanks to its golden sandy beaches.

HOLIDAYMAKERS are warned to triple check their suitcases before heading to the airport because of a strict ban on a certain item. A number of onboard plane fires have led to new rules being introduced when it comes to travelling with power banks. The current rules which have been in place since 2016 ban portable chargers being carried in checked luggage. This is because of fears of them setting on fire, with it unable to be contained if it happens in the hold.
