A warming trend will take place for the end of the week. Wednesday will be dry and cool with skies becoming mostly sunny. Wind gusts as high as 30 mph are possible. Afternoon highs will be in the 50s and 60s. Wind speeds will decrease overnight. The combination of lighter winds and mostly clear skies overnight will lead to colder temperatures.

Spotty light rain showers are possible on Tuesday behind a passing cold front. Winds will increase throughout the afternoon. Wind Advisories will be in effect for counties along and west of the Blue Ridge due to anticipated west winds of 20 – 30 mph. Gusts of 45 – 55 mph are possible.
