The Tri-State Corvette Club kicked off New Year’s Day with its Drive and Dine event, where organization members gathered in Newburgh, Indiana before driving to Briarpatch, 2760 Veach Road, for lunch. 'It's a great place to be': Audubon celebrating student successes

Audubon Elementary School students have been working hard to increase state test scores and putting the school’s guidelines for success on display. McLean judge-executive focusing on infrastructure

Coalition working to spread awareness of local racial history

The Owensboro Community Remembrance Project has been working for several years to spread awareness of the racial history in Daviess County. “We’re working under the umbrella of the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama,” said Forrest Roberts. “They don’t supervise us but have encouraged groups like us to be formed throughout the country to bring about more racial justice.”kAm%96 4@2=:E:@? Goodwill's SCSEP provides seniors with workforce opportunities

Robert Rhinerson, David Glover and Daryle Lambert are employees at the Owensboro Help Office who have enrolled in Goodwill Industries’ Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)as a way to give back to the community while expanding their workforce knowledge. SCSEP provides on-the-job training and the opportunity for seniors ages 55 and older to update job skills, build work experience and continue to have economic security and well-being.
