Audubon Elementary School students have been working hard to increase state test scores and putting the school’s guidelines for success on display. Judge-Executive Curtis Dame said 2024 will be a big year for infrastructure in McLean County, with some ongoing projects — like the new senior center and emergency tower — becoming operational. Robert Rhinerson, David Glover and Daryle Lambert are employees at the Owensboro Help Office who have enrolled in Goodwill Industries’ Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)as a way to give back to the community while expanding their workforce knowledge. SCSEP provides on-the-job training and the opportunity for seniors ages 55 and older to update job skills, build work experience and continue to have economic security and well-being.
