LAFAYETTE – Louisiana’s Malan Potgieter overcame a double bogey on the final hole in regulation and defeated LSU’s Alfons Bondesson on the third hole in a sudden death playoff to lead the Ragin’ Cajuns during the final day of the Louisiana Classics on Tuesday at Oakbourne Country Club. Potgieter finished at 9-under-207 to become the first Ragin’ Cajun to claim medalist honors in the 40th edition of the tournament.
