April 14 (UPI) -- Grammy-winning artists LeAnn Rimes and Sheryl Crow have been named "mega mentors" for the Season 27 contestants on The Voice. Rimes will join coaches John Legend and Adam Levine, while Crow will help out coaches Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé as the contestants head into the playoffs, starting April 28. The animated artwork shows a thaumatrope or optical illusion with different images on the backs and fronts of discs that spell the word "Google" when they spin on individual red threads. "The Doodle illustrates the concept of superposition, one of the fundamental principles that makes quantum computing possible," the search engine's homepage said.

April 13 (UPI) -- Britain's ITV network has announced that Mickey Rourke -- a U.S. actor known for his roles in The Wrestler, Sin City and 9 1/2 Weeks -- left the Celebrity Big Brother reality competition show this weekend. "Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behavior," a representative for the network said in a statement Saturday.
