Clearing out and warming up NEXT Weather Forecast 5/16/2025 As severe weather is fresh in our minds from Thursday night's storms, another threat of severe weather looms Friday night. Temperatures will be hot again Friday as most communities will top out in the mid-80s for highs. Less humidity will help to keep the feel of these summertime temperatures in check; however, sunshine will be plentiful. Attention is then shifted to overnight Friday to Saturday.

Cooler Temperatures Today As Michigan residents clean up from the Sunday storms, another low pressure system is expected to move through on Wednesday, bringing storms and another chance of severe weather. It all begins early on Wednesday as a small chance of mixed precip will move through the area bringing a small chance of minor accumulating snow to areas north of I-69.

True to Michigan, the seasons do not dictate the weather. Temperatures this weekend will be below, but close, to normal for this time of year. However, chances for rain and snow may not be the first thing on our minds when thinking about springtime. There are two rounds of precipitation for the weekend. The first round will come in late Friday night or early Saturday morning.

Cold to start. Highs near freezing. NEXT Weather Forecast 2/10/2025 (CBS DETROIT) — The first major winter storm of the season will bring significant accumulations to Southeast Michigan. Snow will begin Wednesday afternoon and linger into Thursday morning. It all moves in from the Southwest with mainly snow for Michigan and a wintry mix possible in Ohio. The timing for light snow first moves into western counties by 2 p.m. Wednesday.

(CBS DETROIT) - Windy conditions are the main focus in our Monday forecast. A Wind Advisory will go into effect at 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. for all of Southeast Michigan and most of the lower peninsula. Expect sustained southwesterly winds 20 mph to 30 mph with winds gusting to between 45 mph to 50 mph. These winds can make driving difficult, can cause tree limbs to break and fall, and unsecured yard items to scatter.
