Patrick Brady, MD, MSc, and Karen Jerardi, MD, MEd, have been named co-directors of the Hospital Medicine division, effective Nov. 4, 2024. Jerardi and Brady have served as interim co-directors since January 2023, taking over the role previously held by Samir Shah, MD, MSE, MHM, when he became the Department of Pediatrics vice chair for clinical affairs and education. Shah served as director of Hospital Medicine for 10 years.
