    So many friends have been to Japan this past year and loved it – the food, art and culture and experiences. After having spent 16 days there I totally agree, but loved it for a deeper reason, the same reason India, Mexico and China are among my destinations of choice: the opportunity to experience a totally different culture and civilization.

    Missed the annual fashion show of the Istituto Marangoni, the Milan headquartered fashion school with a branch in Miami, so did I unfortunately. Never fear,here’s a photo gallery of some of the creations for men and women of its several hundred students’ work at this, one of the leading Miami fashion schools. And if you haven’t been to their cool shop in the Miami Design District, go have a look along with their amazing library of fashion books and magazines. It’s open to the public.
