IntroductionSeveral benefits have been described to going online in interviews and focus group data collection, such as wider recruitment and increased disclosure (Brighton et al., 2018; Halliday et al., 2021; Mason et al., 2021; Matthews et al., 2018; Tuttas, 2015; Woodyatt et al., 2016). There are also commonly reported limitations associated with technological challenges for participants.
