29 Today, nearly one in five Australian households own a robot vacuum and we are now vacuuming our homes on average 2.5 times a week which is up about 20% from previous years. I have to say with two furbabies that supposedly ‘don’t shed’ (but do’) anything to maximise my leisure time is a bonus. We have reviewed a few robot cleaners, but this is nearing the top of the range for Deebot, leader in the market.

When I got a Dyson, I thought it was the Ferrari of vacuum cleaners. Since then I have also lived with a Tineco steam which has a place in my heart. But an auto cleaning robot? Go To the Ecovacs site and you will be bamboozled with cleaning time, battery life, suction power and more. Buying one can be hard work. However this deal at Aldi makes it a bit easier. A top of the range robot for half price? But still is it worth it? We gave our ‘Nemo’ the Neo a spin and this is how it fared:It’s a breeze.

Do you remember when we first heard about Nespresso? The idea that coffee at home could be brewed with a pod capsule? Wot No! It sounded bonkers, yet now Nespresso, Lavazza and even Aldi are on the trend. Making coffee well requires a lot of skill. Most of us just don’t have the time or talent. Cocktails take this to a whole new level. More ingredients, more aromatics, more equipment and an intimidating level of skill needed. Oh and then the cost.
