    Brianna Corey's dog, Karma, is playful and protective, but the German shepherd can't save her owner from unwanted stares. "I just wanted to be able to go out and just be normal and have people not look at me weird," Corey said. A scar runs the length of Corey's torso—the consequence of an accidental shooting. "The bullet had gone through my colon and my hip. I have the bullet still lodged in my backside, so I'm not able to lay on my side and doing certain things, I get pain," Corey said.

    Doug McIntosh has one person on speed dial. "Occasionally, I do have to call mom, like 20 times a day," McIntosh said. Morning, noon and night, sometimes McIntosh just longs for company. Most times, he's in need. "He would just call and say, 'Mom, my toilet's overflowing.' OK. I'm going to be right there. I'd jump in the car and get there. And there's, you know, things like he can't pick up a cellphone on the floor. Um, he's spilled a gallon of milk under the refrigerator.

IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH, ON VACATION AND DURING SCHOOL. I’VE BROUGHT MY VIOLIN ON PLANES. I BROUGHT IT ON CAMPING, VACATIONS, BROUGHT IT TO WEDDINGS. IT’S NOT BEEN THE EASIEST FEAT, BUT IT’S REALLY JUST SATISFYING AND ENJOYING AND JUST. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. GAETANO IS PLAYING STREAK STARTED WHEN SHE WAS SIX.

    The longtime voice of the Boston Bruins is winding down his career, with Jack Edwards calling his final games during this year's playoffs. NESN's play-by-play analyst, who is from Durham, recently announced his retirement after struggling with slowed speech all season. For 19 years, Edwards has delivered the action on the ice. Only now, he struggles to keep up.
