Before your home get shown, do these things. Turn on the lights. Put the pets away, good gravy if you have something unusual like baby chicks or a snake in house, PLEASE let people know. Yes, I've seen both and yes there were muffled screams. Don't overly cover up you house smells with candles etc. People have allergies and they won't stick around. Deal with the smell then show the house. You are moving right? Start packing.

Buyers think like a seller. Which would you rather see from someone offering to buy your home? Someone pre-qualified or someone pre-approved? Think of pre-qualified as a rough estimate and pre-approved as a solid commitment from a lender. Pre-qualified: This is like a casual chat with a lender. You provide some basic info about your income, debts, and credit score (often without proof), and they give you an estimate of how much you might be able to borrow.
