The Irish competition is now part of the Global Creative Cup thanks to CREW and our team at the Western Development Commission. Mersus Technologies, Script Guru by Mekkato Createch Studios, Wonky Woollins, Isolde and Grá Chocolates, have all been selected as the national finalists for the first ever Irish Creative Business Cup.

    Today, St Brigid’s Day, the 1st of February 2024, marks 25 years since the Western Development Commission (WDC) was officially given its seal of approval by the then Minister for Agriculture and Food, Joe Walsh. The Western Development Act was the culmination of a community-led effort which began in 1994 to establish a development agency specifically for the west.
