Photo by David Sherman/NBAE via Getty Images Despite a huge second half effort from the Lakers, who played just five players the final two quarters, the Wolves overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to grab a stranglehold on the series, winning Game 4, 116-113. Minnesota now leads the series 3-1. After starting Jaxson Hayes to open the game, head coach JJ Redick went to Finney-Smith in the second half.

Photo by Ronald Martinez/Getty Images Behind huge second and third quarters, the Wolves walked into Los Angeles and handed the Lakers a beatdown in Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs, winning 117-95. After trailing by as many as 27 points, the purple and gold rallied in the third and fourth quarters but never truly threatened the visitors, failing to even close the gap to single digits. Luka Dončić led all scorers with 37 points on 12-22 shooting.

I’d usually buy some flowers for my dad to give to my mom for Mother’s Day. And he’d always be so excited to give her the flowers. God damn it, I miss my dad.
