The college of cardinals were not the only ones convening for a conclave. Some children in Pope Leo's hometown had a conclave of their own. It was quite the experience for the kids at Chicago's Our Lady of Mount Carmel Academy. Twenty kid cardinals dressed just like the real cardinals. There were even some Swiss guards protecting them. Their school assembly room was transformed into the Sistine Chapel. and they modeled the process after the Papal Conclave in Vatican City. then came time for the voting.

When you plant a tree, you're giving oxygen to all of us. And in Detroit, they are making space for more breathing room. They have to make a lot of space, because the trees they are planting are going to be big ones. Sequoia trees, which are the largest in the world, are native to California but the non profit Arboretum Detroit has been busy this week planting them in neighborhoods on the city's east Side.

Seasoned first responders are often expected to rush into life-threatening situations... to save people in their community. The Bethlehem police is highlighting 2 officers who went above and beyond, to get a woman to safety. The daring rescue happened last week, during the 4-alarm fire at the Five 10 Flats apartments in Southside. Everyone living inside the building had to evacuate. But first responders learned there was a resident trapped on the 5th floor with no safe way out.

Graduation is a family affair for a mom and her three daughters at Georgia State University. The parents of graduates are usually in the audience watching as their children get their diplomas, but for the Lee family, they are all taking part. That's because a mother and all three of her daughters are all graduating from the same university at the exact same time. Quila Lee, her oldest daughter Rakiya, and twins Kamiya and Kalaya all graduated from Georgia State University last night.
