KRUSZYNIANY, Poland, May 27 (IPS) - Dzenneta Bogdanowicz never imagined she would witness the construction of a wall in the middle of nowhere, just two kilometres from her front door. “It’s right there, so close. It’s a village of 200 inhabitants 250 kilometres northeast of Warsaw, in the Podlasie region.

Això ha alimentat una insurgència de llarga durada, junt amb el sorgiment d’una societat civil cada cop més assertiva.

Divided between Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, Balochistan has endured a systematic exploitation of its mineral and energy resources. This has fuelled a long-standing insurgency, along with the emergence of an increasingly assertive civil society.
