During the previous episode (review here), Rowan had to watch Lasher wed another like himself. A taltos. Elsewhere, Ciprien had learned what LAsher was and how the Mayfairs planned to use him. This season has been a whirlwind of emotions and magic. Even though the finale was a little over a week ago, we’re still reeling. There’s been so many questions and so many answers. While Rowan has been searching for Lasher all season, Lasher has been searching for his purpose.

Last week (review here), Rowan and the others went to Kilbride to meet Ian and find Lasher. As expected, things went awry. Though they didn’t find Lahser, they were invited to a wedding and Moira went missing. This week, Rowan and the others fell into Ian’s tangled web. Lasher’s wedding day finally came but nothing was as it seemed. What’s truly in store for him is still a mystery. Ciprien began unraveling that mystery for The Talamasca but came to a crossroads.

Last week (review here), Rowan went inside Julien’s victrola to try to discover where Lasher was taken. Instead, she wound up splitting in two and was left to Julien’s mercy and games. In the midst of all of this, Rowan finally told Lark she’s a witch. This week, a trip to Killbride, Scotland took an unnerving turn. Moira goes missing. Rowan, Cortland, and Lark were invited to a family wedding. Lasher was granted a glimpse of his mate and possible future. Ciprien arrived in Amsterdam.

Last week (review here), Rowan reunited with Lark over breakfast but things ended abruptly when Mayfair business came up. In order to free Jojo and Daphne from their thrall and save the Mayfair house, Rowan enlists the help of a reluctant Moira. Lasher has been abducted by Albrecht and so they sought out Julien Mayfair, the only Mayfair more obsessed with Lasher than Cortland. This week, magic went wild. Rowan was split in two.

Last week (review here) Rowan attempted to hold a gathering for all Mayfairs in an attempt to protect them and shield them from Lasher but it ended in misery for everyone involved. Jojo and Moira’s sister, Daphne, were thrust into a thrall. Lasher met another supernatural being and learned that not every Mayfair is swept away by his allure. This week, Mayfair Witches finally dived into the history of Rowan and Lark. Cirprien was double-crossed by Albrecht.
