Sugartown - the "GameFi" platform that began its development while part of Zynga for years - is launching another NFT collection. Zynga is the mobile gaming studio behind games like FarmVille and Words With Friends. The studio sold off Sugartown to startup D20 Labs in a move that was reportedly part of a spinout last year. Zynga's crypto-focused staff also moved to D20 Labs. Now, Sugartown's latest drop is underway.

There's now sparkling water that comes with an Abstract NFT and points attached. Rekt Brands - a crypto startup from the traders known on X as OSF (Ovie Faruq) and RektMando on social media - has launched a new drink. It's a sparkling water dubbed Abstract Apple. Like its name suggests, Abstract Apple offers rewards for the Ethereum L2 chain Abstract. Each case of 24 cans grants the buyer Abstract XP and 25,000 DRANK points (Rekt's rewards points), plus an Abstract NFT.

Coinbase is now sponsoring Riot Games for the studio's League of Legends and Valorant Esports global gaming events. The deal officially starts next month with two esports events in Canada. The first is the Valorant Masters event in Toronto June 7. Coinbase will also be part of the MSI 2025 esports tournament in Vancouver that runs June 27 until July 12.

Adidas is dressing up in-game characters with a collection of NFT skins for Xociety, an upcoming third-person crypto shooter game with RPG elements. 2,600 Adidas mystery box NFTs can be opened to reveal in-game skins, including black hoodies, neon Adidas tracksuits, and other looks emblazoned with the Adidas logo. Like Xociety itself, these NFTs will use the Sui L1 chain. Each box consists of a specific number of full clothing sets.
