Image caption, Dozens of Easter eggs have been donated to the charity appealA Jersey department store said it had been overwhelmed by the response to its appeal for Easter eggs to give to families affected by domestic violence. De Gruchy said it chose to support local charity Freeda Jersey which supports women and children who have experienced domestic abuse. The store said people and businesses had been more than "generous" with their donations after launching the appeal on 10 April.
