Gardiner Haskins in Cirencester (Image: Paul Nicholls) A WELL-KNOWN homeware store in the centre of Cirencester has revealed the day it will close its doors for the final time. Gardiner Haskins said its last day of trading at its Cirencester shop will be Saturday, May 31. The store, located in Cirencester’s Dyer Street, will shut for good at 5pm that day. Large reductions are currently available throughout the shop, which is holding a clearance sale.

A road closure is in place on the A38 in Kingsway (library image) (Image: NQ) A ROAD CLOSURE is in place on a key road near Stroud after a crash. Police received a report of a collision involving a van and a car at the traffic lights by the ASDA supermarket on the Naas Lane Link Road in Quedgeley at around 6.30am this morning (Friday, May 9). No one was injured in the two-vehicle crash. A road closure is in place on the A38 in Kingsway following the collision.
