This has made exercising even easier, as they are around a 20-minute walk from my second-year house, so I can get my steps in as well.

For example, Emma (Anya Taylor-Joy) herself dons a pink spencer styled after an 1817 garment from the Chertsey Museum collection. Emma's individuality in having more control over her clothing signifies that her reputation is dictated by her. The costumes also highlight the division between the characters.

I found it difficult to cope with managing university at this time as I had as I had multiple assignments due the following week. I was heartbroken and it affected my motivation and ability to even open my laptop. I was able to get longer extensions than normal due to my extenuating circumstances which was a huge relief.

In preparation for Bridget’s wardrobe in the franchise’s fourth instalment, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, costume designer Molly Emma Rowe revealed in Cosmopolitan that they shopped in charity shops in Hampstead (where Bridget now lives), as well as buying second hand so that Bridget’s wardrobe was more authentic. We also see references to some of Bridget’s most iconic outfits like her miniskirt and sheer top from her skirt saga with Daniel Cleaver in the original film.
