    Far from cribbing Overboard's homework, Expelled! is a tighter, more focused detective story that really makes the most of its replayable timeloop structure. The arrival of a new Inkle game is always cause for celebration in my books, but I'll admit I was somewhat surprised when Expelled received 'An Overboard Game' as an addendum.

Split Fiction isn't your dad's It Takes Two - which is just as well, as that dad's currently a tiny wooden puppet being serenaded by a singing couple's counselling book.

    Like many folks who saw Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's reveal trailer last year, my first thoughts were along the lines of 'Get that gorgeous-looking battle system into my veins, stat.' And at long last, I've been able to sample an early chunk of Sandfall Interactive's upcoming action RPG for myself, playing around the first three and a half hours of the game after its opening prologue.
