NEWS – I always thought it was cool how it was possible to throw a playing card so powerfully and precisely that it would stick in something like fruit or wood. Then I spied these ultimate throwing cards on coolthings.com, which takes throwing cards to a whole new level. They’re called Throwing Death Cards. There are four cards in this deck (all aces with skulls on the backs), they are made of 2.8 mm-thick stainless steel……and they come in a nylon sheath for safe storage.

REVIEW – I love that companies are developing a variety of hobby 3D printers for makers. Being able to bring my ideas to life is amazing! PioCreat is a subsidiary of Creality and recently completed a successful Kickstarter campaign for their new HALOT-X1 resin 3D printer, and I was given the opportunity to review it, the Auto Feed Unit (AFU) for resin management, and the Creality IW-03 Washing/Curing Machine. NEWS – Here’s a plant pot to help you turn your black thumb green. The Vanavazon 6-inch Self-watering Planter Pots are a little different from other self-watering pots – they use a clear lower reservoir so you can see the water level and know when to fill it. Once you fill the reservoir with water, the pot uses a cotton wick to draw water up to the soil when necessary. They’re six-inch diameter pots made of plastic that can water your plants for a week or more.

ARTICLE – While browsing tech news over the years, I’ve spied articles about secret Netflix codes that allow you to do particular things. I never really paid attention to them until now. I recently read an article about how to skip Netflix’s algorithm using codes to get directly to the genres/subgenres you’re interested in. The CNET article mentioned that there are over 36,000 codes available but apparently no single place to find a list of all of them.
