Bryson DeChambeau had his chance at Quail Hollow but couldn't get the job done. Bryson DeChambeau looked to be one of the few genuine threats to Scottie Scheffler heading into the final round of the 2025 PGA Championship. But the flaws in his game caused him to fall down the leaderboard at Quail Hollow Club, and the two-time U.S. Open champ seems not to be aware of them. “I'm baffled right now,” DeChambeau said to the media after his final round.

Xander Schauffele has a chance to become just the third back-to-back winner at the PGA Championship since the event switched to stroke play in 1958. Scottie Scheffler kicked off the 2025 RBC Heritage with the ceremonial cannon shot and then went out and had a great first round at Harbour Town. Scottie Scheffler, wearing a bigger than his own RBC Heritage tartan jacket and earplugs to protect his hearing, made a perfect swing. His golf ball left the 18th fairway and headed into Calibogue Sound right as the cannon fired, thus completing one of the most unique opening ceremonies on the PGA Tour.

Just Announced: Starting Strokes will be eliminated from the season-ending TOUR Championship as the TOUR’s top players compete for a chance to win the PGA TOUR’s Ultimate Prize, the FedExCup.

Maybe Rory McIlroy was just tired of talking to media.

Is this why DeChambeau lost? https://t.co/5E4vkyKhCE
