Clocking in at a little over two hours, the two men had plenty of time to cover any ground they wanted to and get their respective points across. Tom DeBlass was also present for the first hour of the debate, although he had to leave halfway through with Manasoiu and Souders still in deep disagreement.

Mario Sperry recently revealed a little-known secret from all the way back in the beginning of ADCC, that BJJ legend Rickson Gracie almost competed in the promotion’s very first superfight. The first edition of the tournament took place in 1998 and Sperry was one of the handful of elite grapplers who was invited to compete. He finished that weekend with the biggest achievement possible, as he won both the under 99kg and absolute divisions to become the promotion’s first double champion.

Three-time NCAA champion Jason Nolf is now set to face Renato Canuto at UFC Fight Pass Invitational 9 on December 5th, 2024. The match between the two men will serve as the co-main event of the evening, as Mikey Musumeci will make his promotional debut against Felipe Machado in the main event.
