MANAGERS in NHS trusts with poor performance are picking up six figure pay packages, the TaxPayers’ Alliance has discovered. Their NHS Rich List 2025 report shows that in 2023-24 there were 1,694 senior managers receiving over £100,000 in total remuneration across 224 NHS trusts. Total remuneration includes salary, expenses, benefits, bonuses and pension contributions.

I REALLY began to wonder this week whether Britain had lost the will to live. Where’s the fight gone from this once feisty country? The silent majority seem to lie down and meekly accept everything, even if it means national suicide. I put it down mainly to the legacy media. Run by the children of the 60’s and 70’s cultural revolutionaries, educated themselves in a new illiberal era of post-feminism, diversity and ‘woke’, they seem incapable of independent critical thought, or judgment.

THANK God for Ezra Levant, publisher of Rebel News, and for his ‘pursuit of truth’ reporting. Because no one else, as far as I can tell, is doing it. Not with his clarity and determination anyway. He broke the news on Monday that Tommy Robinson was to be released from prison now he has ‘purged’ his civil offence of contempt of court. He had flown in from Canada especially to cover it. We published his report from outside the Royal Courts of Justice yesterday.

YESTERDAY three appeal judges doubled down on the State’s punitive treatment of Lucy Connolly for what her first judge decided was incitement to racial hatred. If her treatment hadn’t before, this further layer of brutality meted out to her will indeed make her case a cause célèbre. Lord Justice Holroyde at the Court of Appeal quite extraordinarily said there was ‘no arguable basis’ that Lucy Connolly’s original sentence was ‘manifestly excessive’. Really so? How out of touch is he?

THE final draft of the WHO Pandemic Agreement is expected to be formalised at the World Health Assembly this week. This is when each member state can decide whether or not to sign the treaty. The meeting has gone ahead without the inclusion of Argentina and the United States.
