    COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - The City of College Station is seeking four community members to serve on its Recreation Center Committee. The goal of the committee is to guide the second phase of a feasibility study about a potential community facility. This committee will provide valuable input on conceptual facility design, space utilization, potential locations, and operational planning. The application deadline is Friday, May 16.

    BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - The Texas Legislative Session continues in Austin. Representative Paul Dyson joined News 3 to discuss several proposed bills. House Bill 186In a bipartisan vote, the Texas House gave final approval to a bill that could radically change the social media landscape in the state. House Bill 186 would put a ban on the use of social media by children. Rep. Dyson said he has asked people, specifically college students, about their thoughts on the bill.
